Daniel Negreanu on Living a Remarkable Life

Other than our family, I believe there are a handful of people who walk into our lives and leave permanent footprints. Daniel Negreanu is one of those people to me. He has been a mentor and was actually the first to introduce me to the world of emotional intelligence and personal development.

For those who are unfamiliar with the poker world, Negreanu is considered one of the most influential poker ambassadors in history and is number one on the all-time money list with nearly $33 million in tournament winnings. Amongst his poker achievements are six World Series of Poker bracelets, two World Poker Tour titles, Global Poker Index Player of the Decade, and a member of the Poker Hall of Fame.

Off the table, he's dedicated his life to making a difference. Every year he hosts the St. Jude Against All Odds Celebrity Poker Tournament and last year alone, he raised almost half a million dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

This year's event is Saturday, November 5th. If you'd like to purchase a dinner ticket or play in the tournament, you can do so at the St. Jude website.
